Welcome to Traveling with the Bryants! Join our Travel Share group as we explore new destinations, make memories, and save money together. We're Slow Traveling...Until we're too slow to travel!

OUR STORY

We are a couple who started international travel part time in 2016 out of pure curiosity and to research the possibility of one day living outside the US. But an unintended consequence is that we quickly fell in love with traveling. Not the hotels, resorts and excursions (although those are fun too)

But we became fascinated with cultures, traditions, societies and languages. We realized that the world is a library and each country, village and town are books, waiting to be read.

Initially, when we traveled, we would stream our daily report of our adventures and discoveries on Facebook at night. We would answer questions and try to explain as best we could so that our followers would see the mental picture that we were drawing for them.

Well life happened and in 2022 we found ourselves living in Tanzania, East Africa. Still updating our followers about our new home and culture, when we came up with an idea.

Why don’t we invite a few followers and friends on a tour? This way people can see what we have seen as well as do some things that we would all experience for the first time…together.

It was a hit and we all had a blast!

Well, that is the short version. Traveling consistently each year, we eventually developed Bryant Travel Share, where we host travel around the world in small groups. Together we explore the essence of the destination as well as the popular tourist spots. We talk, have meals with locals, visit schools, participate in traditions, see bucket list sights and much more…in other words we read the books!

Why we're different.

We are a Travel Share Group! We look for the best deals on Airfare, Accomodations, Tours and cultural expierinces and we pay for them as a group, giving you an oppourtunity to cross a place off your bucket list on the cheap!

Our Method
How we Travel Cheap!

We keep our groups small (No more than 10 people total). While this keeps the cost of accomodations and travel low it also means that the tours fill up very quickly. We intentionally only plan 30% of the time with activities. We like to encourage individual exploration as well as allow time for those spontaneous activities that the group may decide on once we are there on the ground.

Preparation
We Do The Scouting.

My wife and I are slow traveling through most of these destinations, So we will usually arrive 2 weeks to a month before the rest of the group. This allows us to vet accommodations and activities before you arrive. This decreases the chance of those little unpleasant surprises we often get while traveling.
